Issued by the National Bank of Georgia, this coupon note shows a pair of griffins flanking the Borjgali sun emblem on the front and a large numeral denomination between bunches of grapes on vine branches on the back. It belongs to the provisional coupon (kuponi) series issued during the severe hyperinflation that followed Georgian independence, before the lari was introduced in 1995.
