A local emergency note issued by the Carcassonne Chamber of Commerce under its deliberation of 2 March 1920, part of the Chambres de Commerce issues that relieved small-change shortages in France during and after the First World War. The back shows a gateway of the medieval walled Cité of Carcassonne with civic arms in each corner, and it was printed by J. Cassan Aîné of Toulouse.
