A wartime 'monnaie matière' allocation voucher for one kilo of ordinary steel and cast iron moulded products, issued by the ferrous metals section of the Office Central de Répartition des Produits Industriels under the Vichy rationing system and valid until 31 December 1944. The reverse carries endorsement stamps from the SNCF Sud-Est and the firm S.A. Billard et Cie of Tours, showing how these material credits passed between businesses. It is a rationing voucher rather than a true banknote, so it has no Standard Catalog Pick number.
