A Bank of England Series C five-pound note in blue, showing Pietro Annigoni-style portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the front and a seated Britannia with shield and olive branch on the back. Introduced in 1963, Series C was the first five-pound series to carry the monarch's portrait.
