A 10 dinara note from the Croatian dinar series dated Zagreb, 8 October 1991, issued by the newly independent Republic of Croatia. The front shows Ruđer Bošković (1711 to 1787), the Dubrovnik-born scientist and mathematician, beside geometric and astronomical diagrams and the Croatian chequerboard shield. The back shows Zagreb Cathedral with its twin spires. The Croatian dinar was a temporary currency, replaced by the kuna in 1994.
