Issued by the Banco Central do Brasil in the early 1980s, in a series with mirrored double portraits. One side shows President Humberto de Alencar Castelo Branco twice, one image inverted against the other. The other side shows large dish antennas for telecommunications. Castelo Branco was the first president of the military government that took power in 1964, serving until 1967.
