Emergency money issued by Walding, a village on the Danube just west of Linz in Upper Austria, under a council decision of 18 April 1920 and valid until 31 December 1920. It was designed by Hosner and printed by Jos. Waltl of Linz. The picture side shows the church tower and village square; the other side carries a wry rhyme complaining that Austria in its need had too little to eat but plenty of Notgeld presses. This is the black printing; the collection also has the brown.
