Austrian municipal emergency money (Notgeld) issued by the community of Thanstetten. The text side carries the council's guarantee and signatures, and the other side shows a view of the village with its church, valid until 31 December 1920. Such notes were issued during the post-First World War coin shortage and were also widely collected at the time. The municipality was renamed Schiedlberg in 1947, after its main village.
