Austrian Notgeld (emergency money) issued by the municipality of Pfarrkirchen im Mühlkreis in Upper Austria. One side carries the denomination and redemption guarantee in ornate Gothic lettering, signed by the mayor, and the other shows a view of the village and its church, printed by L. Haase of Linz. A council resolution of 13 May 1920 authorised the issue, up to a total of 100,000 Kronen, during the post-war coin shortage.
