Issued by the Oesterreichische Nationalbank and dated 2 January 1969 (2nd issue), this note shows the Swiss-born neoclassical painter Angelika Kauffmann (1741–1807) with the Austrian coat of arms on the front. The back shows a traditional Bregenzerwälderhaus, a farmhouse typical of the Bregenz Forest region of Vorarlberg.
